Bertrand has been a Tillerman Executive Search Partner since 2014 and is in charge of the Industry, Services (excluding Banking, Insurance, and Real Estate) and Distribution Division. With over 20 years of headhunting expertise, Bertrand is a Profit Centre, mid-cap company and SME recruitment specialist. He works in genuine partnership with his clients and his main goal is to improve their management approach by sourcing unique and specialist talents which are adapted to their needs.
After graduating as a professional chartered accountant, Bertrand began his career with leading audit firms, Ernst & Young and Grant Thornton. After six years of financial auditing and consulting, his business flair and his capacity to listen to others steered him towards HR.
In 2000 Bertrand joined the Finance Division at Michael Page, an anglo-saxon recruitment firm, where, four years later, he was put in charge of recruiting financial directors. His headhunting experience led him to help create the Michael Page and Coleridge & Valmore Executive Search Divisions which are exclusively geared to headhunting directors. For seven years, Bertrand managed Services, Industry and Distribution assignments for French and international businesses of all sizes.
Bertrand left the Michael Page Group in 2014 to concentrate on an entrepreneurial project and moved to Tillerman Executive Search as a Partner. As a Services, Industry and Distribution sector specialist, Bertrand handles recruitment programmes for international listed groups and their subsidiaries, family-owned groups, SMEs / mid-cap companies, investment fund participation, and family offices. Bertrand’s commitment to his assigned projects and his efficiency have won him robust client loyalty.
